Founder

Uzziel Olomi has been passionate about renewable energy from a young age, inspired by the vision of communities powered without noise, pollution, or energy insecurity. Growing up in Nigeria, he witnessed firsthand how unreliable electricity could limit opportunities a challenge that shaped his commitment to clean, dependable power solutions. Early in his career, he worked briefly with a Nigerian power distribution company where he saw the gaps and inefficiencies of the national grid up close. This firsthand experience deepened his understanding of the sector’s challenges and strengthened his drive to create practical, sustainable alternatives.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Renewable Energy from the University of Hull in the UK, specializing in solar, wind, and hybrid technologies. His career spans energy engineering, product management, and renewable system design, leading feasibility studies, delivering solar and wind projects, and creating solutions that have powered homes, SMEs, and communities. As the founder of Uravix Renewables, Uzziel blends technical expertise with strategic vision to drive Africa’s clean energy transition. Under his lea dership, the company is committed to delivering innovative, affordable, and sustainable energy systems across Nigeria and beyond.
